This marked the launch of a new operational model, known as series pumping, developed in cooperation with PZL, operator of the pipeline connecting Feruka to Harare.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:40% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/cpmz.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1-3-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"V\u00e1lvula do sistema CPMZ.\" class=\"wp-image-1882 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cpmz.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1-3-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cpmz.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1-3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cpmz.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1-3-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cpmz.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1-3-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/cpmz.co.mz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1-3-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The objective is to interconnect the Beira\u2013Feruka and Feruka\u2013Harare pipelines, allowing them to operate as a single transportation system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This means that fuel pumped from the Port of Beira can be discharged:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>directly in Harare;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>directly in Feruka;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>through a mixed model, with part of the product remaining in Feruka and the rest continuing to Harare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>This is another historic milestone for CPMZ and the Beira Corridor, made possible by the cooperation between the teams involved and an increasingly integrated operation between Beira and Harare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new configuration provides greater operational flexibility and enables us to respond more efficiently to the needs of the markets we serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like the installed capacity expansion project, pumping in series represents another step towards consolidating the Beira Corridor as a strategic route for energy security in Southern Africa.<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 1 October, at 10:30 a.m., the first molecule of fuel left CPMZ\u2019s pumping station in Beira to be discharged directly in Harare, without stopping in Feruka.
