From Beira to Harare, the most trusted route for fuel in Southern Africa.<\/h2>\n \n
\n

Our vision is to ensure that the pipeline between Beira and Harare becomes the preferred transporter of refined products to the Southern African hinterland. Realising this vision \u2013 shared by CPMZ and the Government of Zimbabwe \u2013 is synonymous with an increasingly more competitive, safer and more advanced fuel transportation service.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this strategy, Harare becomes a key fuel distribution hub, providing a response for the needs of the Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Botswana and Democratic Republic of Congo markets, with all the benefits of pipeline transport: greater economic efficiency, better quality and less environmental impact.<\/p>\n

Guided by this vision and the forecasts for growing demand, CPMZ has developed a sound plan to design, finance and construct the necessary works, facilities and procedures. All of this so that the Beira-Harare pipeline can gradually establish itself as the preferred transporter in the region.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n

Realising this common vision requires the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Expanding the existing capacity of the CPMZ pipeline (Beira-Feruka<\/b><\/strong><\/strong>)
    \n<\/strong>Since 2018, we have been implementing a multi-phase capacity expansion project. The goal is to increase capacity from two to five million cubic metres per year with the possibility of accommodating even greater demand without having to stop pumping.

  2. Connecting the CPMZ pipeline (Beira-Feruka) and the PZL pipeline (Feruka-Harare)<\/b><\/strong><\/strong>
    \nA new serial pumping project is being designed by CPMZ and PZL to interconnect the pipelines. This unique arrangement will allow for the transportation of the fuel to Harare to be improved with no efficiency or time losses.

  3. Developing Harare as a distribution hub<\/b><\/strong><\/strong>
    \nCPMZ and the Government of Zimbabwe have agreed on a commitment to develop Harare\u2019s positioning as a strategic distribution hub for the hinterland. The project includes improvements in the planning, transport and unloading of petroleum products, among other measures.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n
