The Beira Corridor: The preferred route for refined products in Southern Africa
The Beira Corridor links the port of Beira in Mozambique with key landlocked markets across the region. At its heart is the Beira-Harare pipeline, jointly owned and operated by CPMZ and the National Oil Infrastructure Company of Zimbabwe (NOIC). The pipeline, one of the most important infrastructure arteries in southern Africa, provides the most efficient route for moving refined products from global markets into Zimbabwe and onward to Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, and Zambia.”
